Are You Saved?

I am confident you know people who died. All of us will one day face this fate. However, death isn't the final end. Our soul is immortal - it never dies.
In the Book of Matthew, Chapter 10, Verse 28, it says: "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul."
All of us are responsible for our behaviors - no one is perfect. Based on this truth, there is a payment that God requires from each of us for our reprehensible ways - death.
However, God loves us so much that He sent a replacement - His Son, Jesus. John, Chapter 3, Verse 16, says: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Jesus, the world's Savior, came to earth from Heaven to die for our sins. He paid our death penalty. Those who believe this truth, and want to receive the free gift of eternal life, will spend eternity in Heaven with Him.
Romans, Chapter 6, Verse 23, says: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
The Bible declares that those who reject Jesus' free gift of eternal life will spend eternity separated from Him. In the Book of Matthew, Chapter 25, Verse 41, it says: "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.'
The truth is God loves and wants us to spend eternity with Him! 2 Peter, Chapter 3, Verse 9, says:"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
God is long-suffering. However, tomorrow isn't promised to anyone. Additionally, this current world will one day end. Delaying making the right decision can be devastating.
The Book of Romans, Chapter 10, Verses 9 through 10 , says: "If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
If you believe Jesus died for your sins and you want to spend eternity with Him, say this prayer:
'Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose for my justification. I repent for my sins and invite you to come into my heart to live.'
CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU'VE MADE THE BEST DECISION OF YOUR LIFE!!! For your next step, seek and join a church where you can be lead in fulfilling God's predestined plan for your life. Blessing to you on your new journey! ❤️
I love how simply you put this, it's not complicated is it? Yet it's a huge step for so many people. Love
I'm commenting on blog of July 9, 2021, "Are You Saved." I had a second chance to glance at this blog and noticed that I did not comment (...not like me. It must have been a busy time) anyways, I am not saved because of my repentance, faith, and works are perfect. I am saved because the works of Christ Jesus was perfect. I am clinging to HIS perfect righteousness despite my imperfections. This reminds me of this scripture: If we confess our sins HE is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) Thank you for giving us tools to works on our imperfections. Keep it coming!
